Baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan minkler, A.G.Hadford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson. The minutes of the meeting of December 3, 1956, were read and approved as read. Current bills were read and upon motion ordered paid. The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file. A committee from the Sportsman's Club wsee agatbn present to ask approval by the Town Council of their pvtpo s.ln of acquiring pro- perty north of the Town Park for a Club House and recreational area. The Council, by motion approved this request and Mayor Baker appointed Councilman Wynn Anderson to work with the Sportsmans Club regarding a street in question and other similar problems. Mr. Baker, with the approval of the Council, appointed Mr.Carl Bergstrom to the School Advisory Council to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Radnich. 181 Meeting adjourned at 9 :25. January 7, 1957(Continued) Mr. Baker congratulated the Fire dept. on their very successful Christthas Party which was very well attended. After some discussion it was moved and carried the Marshal and Deputies be authorized to set up a B.B.gun target range, to give supervised traing to boys in Town, the meeting to organize to be held on Thurs. Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. By motion, ord.No. 240, the Salary Crdinance, was placed on its first reading. By motion, ord. No. 240 was placed on its second reading by title only. Upon motion ord.no. 240 was placed on its third reading and final passage. Wm. Aliment offered the proposal that the Town install a tank and buy gas from the Union 011 Co. It was moved and carried we accept this proposal and Mr. Zepp was appointed in charge. The informal meeting to talk over street water problems was announced for Jan. 21. Chas. 0.
