Baker, at 3 p.m. gouncilmen present were Stan Minkler, Rudolf Hegel, A.G.Radford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson. The minutes of the meeting of June 3 were read and approved as read. The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file. Mr. Minkler reported 3 Building permits issued in June. Mr. ZeppprSpellted a proposal by Lyle L. Barger to put a new roof on the Town Hall for $400.00 plus tax; including material and labor. It was moved this proposal be accepted. 201 Meeting adjourned at 9:55. July 1, 1957(continued) There was some disctssion regarding blackberried along streets and sidewalks. Mr. Zepp was asked to get a price on killing the blackberries. basic Only one bid was received for street improvement. The,,bid of nainier Asphalt Paving Co. of 0,314.00 for furnishing all labor and materials for the Street work was by motion accepted, by the adoption of Res. No. 105. Mr. baker reported that Mr. R.G.Keever, representing White Bollard, Inc., had contacted him 'and stated his client, who had purchased 250 acres of land just south of the Town limits, desired to annex to Tukwila. Mr. Baker promised to discuss this request with the Council, who indisrated they were favorable to such a proposal. Mr. Baker announced a work meeting for July 15 at 8 p.m. Cito,. Chas. 0.
