by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker, at 3 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan
Minkler, Rudolf Regel, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson.
Mayor Baker stated that the purpose of the meeting was (1) To con-
sider a request for annexation of an area along the east boundary and
north boundary of the Town of Tukwila; and (2) To discuss the orgina-
zation of a City Planning Commission and the drafting of an ordinance
cereating said City Planning Commission.
Mr. Joe Aliment presented to the Council a Petition for annexation,
signed by the owners of not less than 75% in value, according to the
assessed valuation for general taxation, of the property sought to be
annexed,s forth a description of the property and accompanied
by a plat outlining the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
