September 23, 1957
The recessed meeting of September 16 was called to order by the
Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker ,at £3 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler
Rudolf Hegel, A.G.Radford and Wynn Anderson.
It was moved by Br. Minkler and seconded by Mr. Hegel that Ord.
No. 244 be placed on its second reading by title only. It was moved

by Stan Minkler and seconded by Mr. Radford that drd. I'jo. 244, the
annexation ordinance, be placed on its 3rd. reading and final passage.
Mr. baker in carrying out the provisions of Ord. 242, proceeded
to appoint the members of the Planning Commission. From the Council
Mr. Stan Minkler and Mr. A.G.Radford. lie appointed the following and
by lot determined the date of the expiration of their term of office;
Mr. Joe Aliment, term expires Jan. 2, 1953
Mr. John B. Strander, term expires Jan. 2, 1959
Mr. Carl uergstron, term expires Jan. 2, 1962
Mr. R.K.Doyle, term expires Jan. 2, 1960
The Council by motion confirmed the appointments.
Mr. Baker appointed Mr. Anderson to attend whenever possible
the meetings of the group studying the Metro Plan.
Mr. Radford presented an inquiry he had received concerning
the attitude of the Council on Panabode Houses. The Council agreed
that these houses did not meet the requirements of the Tukwila
Building Code.
