A Special meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the Mayor Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 P.E. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, Rudolf Hegel, A.G.Radford, Melvin Watkins and
Wynn Anderson.
Mr. Baker announced that the meeting had been called to review
the findings of the Planning Commission, who were meeting jointly
with the Council,to discuss necessity of Planning for Town of Tukwila.
Mr. Bergstrom, Secretary of the P &arining Commission, presented
the following recommebdation which provided that "A recommendation
be made to the Town Council that the necessary steps be taken to
obtain a Comprehensive Master Plan of the Town of Tukwila and it's
environs, under which the Planning Commission may proceed in a
proper manner to plan zoning for recommended adoption by the Town
Council."
It was moved and carried the Council accept this recommendation
of the Planning Uommission.
