The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 6 :30 P.M. Councilmen present were
Stan Minkler, Rudolf Regel, A.G.Radford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Andersom.
Members of the Planning Commission present were John Strander, Chair-
man, Carl Bergstrom, Secretary, Ronald Doyle, Larry Frese and Robt.
Kelly. John Dobson, town attorney and Mr. Cysewski, engineer with John
Graham Co. were also present.
It was moved by Stan Minkler and seconded by Mr. Watkins that ord.
No. 251, the town Zoning ordinance be placed on its second reading, by
title only. Motion carried.
Mr. Baker the asked if there was any one present representing the
Port of Seattle. None present. he then asked if there was anyone present
representing the Seattle Area Industrial Council. No one was present.
He asked if there was anyone present representing the Seattle Chamber
of Commerce. No one present. Mr. Baker asked if there was anyone present
representing Andover Inc. No one present. He asked if there was anyone
present representing Southcenter Stores. Mr. George W. Broom, attorney,
representing Southcenter Stores was introduced.
Mr. Baker asked if there was any written or oral communication to
be presented to the Council. There was none.
It was moved by Stan Minkler, seconded by Mr. Regel and carried
that Council approve the changes in ordinance No. 251 as submitted by
John Dobson, town attorney, and Mr. Cysewski, with John Graham Co.
It was moved by Stan Minkler, seconded by Mr. Regel that Ord. No.
251 be placed on its third reading and final passage. Motion carried.
Roll call showed Mr. Minkler voting "yes; Mr. Regel Voting "yes Mr.
Radford voting "yes Mr. Watkins voting "yes" and Mr. Anderson voting
"yes that ord. No. 251 be adopted in its entirety.
It was moved and carried that copies of Ord. 1 o. 251, the Compre-
hensive Plan be available upon a deposit of $5.00; this not applying
to tax supported institutions.
Meeting adjourned at 10 :30 P.M.
