January 27, 1958
A recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present were tan
Minkler, Rudolf Regel, A.G.hadford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson.
Upon motion ordinance No. 256, a Building Code, was placed on its
first reading.
Mayor Baker appointed Ir. James North a member of the Planning
Commission his term to expire on January 2, 1961. By motion this
appointment was confirmed by the Council.
Mr. Anderson reported that the committee considering applications
for Business licenses approved the request of Mr. Don Hofstra for a
license do do business as a Merchant Patrol. It was moved and carried
the license be granted.
A request was received from the Natural Gas Company to construct
and install gas mains in town streets It was moved and carried the
request be granted, that the work be completed as quickly as possible
and all work pass inspection of Mr. Zepp, Street Superintendent.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :15.
