The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Liouncil was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 8 p.m. Councilmen present were Stan
Minkler, Rudolf Hegel, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson.

This date having been set for a public hearing on a petition fpr
annexation of an area south of present town limits, Mayor Baker asked if 1c
there were any oral or written objections to this petition. There being
none and the Council having considered the petition it was moved by Dir.
Minkler, seconded by Mr. Regel that the property included in the petition
be annexed to Tukwila effective as of midnight February 28, 1958. Motion
carried.

It was then moved by Mr. Minkler and seconded by isdr negel that ordinance
No. 258, annexing property to the Town of Tukwila, be placed on its first
reading. 1 iotion carried.
It was moved by Mr. winkler and seconded by Mr. Watkins that Urd.
No. 257, annexing property east of the town limits to the Town of Tukwila
be placed on its second reading by title only. Motion carried. It was
moved by igir. Diinkler and seconded by Dir. tiratkins that 'rd. No. 257 be
placed on its third reading and final passage.
A request from Walter Hoefling for a Business License for Garbage
Collection was received and turned over to the License committee.
The electrical wiring of the Town Hall was discussed, and it was decided
it should be examined. Mr. Zepp was asked,to get an estimate on wiring.
Meeting recessed at 9:00 P.M. to meet on Monday, February 24, 1958,
at 8 P.M.
