The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan
Minkler, Rudolf Regel, A.G.Radford, Melvin Watkins and Wynn Anderson.

Stan Minkler and seconded by Mr. Regel that ordinance No. 253 be placed
on its third reading and final passage. idotion carried.
It was moved by Stan Minkler and seconded by Mr. Radford that Ord.
No. 259, correcting Ord. No. 255 be placed on its first reading. Motion
carried. It was moved that Ord. No. 259 be placed on its second reading
by title only; seconded and carried. It was moved by Stan Minkler and
seconded by Mr. Radford that Ord. No. 259 be placed on its third reading
and final passage. Motion carried.
Mayor Baker called the attention of Council members to two letters;
one written by Mr. Keever of Andover Corporation on Nov. 13, 1957; the
other written by Mr. McCurdy of Allied Stores on February 21, 1958. In
these letters Seattle City Light was requested to furnish electrical
service to property south of So. 154th owned by Andover corporation.
The letters were copies of those sent to Seattle City Light. In the
letters the writers uaraltteed that all those occupying the property
mentioned would use Seattle City Light.
Mrs. John Livermore and Mrs. Hobt. Painter living south of Tukwila
town limits questioned the Council regarding surfacing a road half of
which is the responsibility of the Town of Tukwila. mr. Baker outlined
the plan of Tukwila to improve roads in the annexed area and stated the
town is willing to work agith the County He requested Mr. Zepp and the
Street committee to contact Mr. Ashly, County Engineer, confer with him
and bring back a report to the Council.
Mr. Minkler reported Mr. Duff wants to re -plat his property. It was
recommended he have it surveyed and present the plats to the Planning
Commission.
Meeting adjourned at 9:20.
