called to order by the Mayor, Chas. O. Luker, at 3 P.M. Councilmen
present were Stan �yiinkler, Rudolf Hegel, A. G. ttadford, i�ielvin
Watkins and Wynn Anderson. Lawrence Frese and Ronald Doyle, Council-
men elect, sat also at the Council table.
A letter from the Tukwila Manning Commission stated that group had
appointed„Mayor Baker to represent the Tukwila Planning �ominission at
the annual convention of the Association of Washington Cities to be
held at'Spokane in May, allowing 1400.00 toward his expenxes.
By motion ordinance No. 260, an ordinance governing law and order,
was placed on „its first reading.
Wynn Anderson, Chairman of a committee to revise our Business
Ordinance, read the ordinance with proposed changes After a thorough
discusston action was continued until the next Council meeting.
Stan 1 'linkler announced a committee meeting; with users of Nelson water
on April 23rd and a meeting with Engineers of south Seattle Water Co.
on April 29th.
Bill Aliment discussed a possibility of locating a fire hydrant on
the Foster Golf Course. Diayor Baker delegated the water 'dommittee and
idr. Zepp, Water Supt. to meet with Der. Aliment.
Council members discussed the unsafe condition of the electric
wiring in the Town Hall. Mr. Zepp stelted he had estimates of cost of
re- wiring. It was moved and carried /qr. Zepp proceed to have this work
done.
