HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0132 - Official Newspaper for Publication - Duwamish Valley News (Repealed by Ord 569)ORDINANCE NO 132 REPEALD BY 569 AN ORDINANCE SELECTING AND DESIGNATING DUWAMISH VALLEY NEWS AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE TOWN OF TUKWiLA, KING COUNTY WASHINGTON. WHEREAS, it is provided by law that any town of the fourth class of the State of Washington may select or designate any weekly newspaper of general circulation in such town as the official paper of such town; and AREAS, there is neither a daily newspaper nor a weekly newspaper printed in said Town of Tukwila; and WHEREAS, the "Duwamish Valley News" is a weekly newspaper- printed in King Qounty, Washington, and of general circulation in said Town of Tukwila, and it is deemed for the best interests of said Town that it designate such newspaper as the official paper of said Town, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the "Duwamish Valley News a newspaper printed in King County, Washington, and of gen- eral circulation in the Town of Tukwila in said County, be and the same is hereby selected and designated as the official paper of the Town of Tukwila, and that all notices published in said paper for the period and in the manner provided by law, or the ordinances of said Town, shall be due and legal notices.
