The regular meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order
by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker, at 3 P.M. Councilmen present were A. G.
Radford, Wynn Anderson, Lawrence Frese and Ronald Doyle.
The minutes of the June meetings were read and approved as read.
The Clerk read notes from Freda Stevens and Mickey Radford in which
each thanked the Mayor and Town Oouncil for the gifts given them at
the Golden Jubilee Picnic, as a token of the appreciation of the
Council and Town for their work on the Jubilee Committee.
Mr. baker in behalf of the Council, thanked John Strander for the
beautiful Oak he presented to the Town at the Golden Jubilee Picnic.
Mr. baker read a letter from the Prosecuting Attorney in which he
stated that the Town of Tukwila is entitled to only one Justice of the
Peace.
Current bills were examined and vouchers signed and upon motion
ordered paid.

The report of the Water dept. was read and placed on file.
Mr. Nelson, Miss nelson, Mr. Jorgensen and their attorney, Mr.
naugan, were present and continued a discussion of the problems of
the Independent Water System.
Resolution DI°. 110, a resolution of thanks to the l;iembers of the
Golden Jubilee Committee, was, by motion adopted.
