AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT
ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO 1 LID 1 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
CLARENCE AVENUE FROM RIVERSIDE AVENUE TO WARRENT AVENUE AND CERTAIN
PARTS OF CERTAIN OTHER STREETS AND AVENUES IN THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
KING COUNTY WASHINGTON BY THE LAYING AND CONSTRUCTION OF WATER PIPES
THEREIN FOR DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLY AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING THE SAME
UNDER ORDINANCE NO 121 OF SAID TOWN AND LEVYING AND ASSESSING THE AMOUNTS
THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS TRACTS PARCELS OF LAND AND OTHER
PROPERTY AS SHOWN ON SAID ASSESSMENT ROLL AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TO1VN COUNCIL OIL THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
AS OLLO .S
Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of legal
Improvement District No, 1 in said town, for the improvement
of Clarence Avenue from Riverside Avenue to Warren Avenue,
and certain parts of certain other streets and av nuse in
the Town of Tukwil King County, Washington, by the laying
and construction of water pipes therein for domestics water
supply, and otherwise improving the same, under Ordinance Ni
121 of said town, as said assessment roll now stands, be and
the an is hereby nodif'ied as f'o? 1 .1ws: the assessment of $27.01
against lot ten (10), block one (1), Summit Viww Addition, is
hereby reduced to $4,30, the assessment

of $17.20 against lot
Seattle Garden Tracts,
is hereby stricken; the assessment of X29.24 against lot ten
(10), block four (4), Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts, is here—
by reduced to 27.52; the assessment of $29.24 against lot
eleven (11), block four (4), Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts,
is hereby stricken; the assessment of $141.90 against tract
twenty (20), Brookvale Garden Tracts, is hereby reduced to
$116.10; the assessment of *448.27 against tract twenty (20),
Interurban Tracts, is hereby reduced to $357.97.
Section 2. That the said assessment roll (modified as provided
in Sedtion 1 of this ordinance) as the same now stands be, and
the same is hereby, in all thinFe etioroved and confirmed.
Section 3. That each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land
and other property shown upon said assessment roll is hereby
declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at
least the amount charged a the same, and that the assess
gent appearing against the same is in proportion to the several
assessments aDpe ring a »oh said assessment roll. There is here-
by levied and assessed acinst each such lot, tract, parcel of
land and other pl opel'ty appearing ng upon said assessment roll, the
amount finally charged a inst the same, as shown thereon.
Section That of vec�s.�n 4. -.,t for the �ur�,ose of said improvement, is
hereby created and established a special fund, to be called
"Local Improvement Fund District To. 1.7
Section 5. Whereas, said to n of Tukwila has no official
newspaper and no newspaper is printed or published therein,
therefore this ordinance shall be posted in at least three public
places in said town, and this ordinance shall become effective
upon its passage, approval and posting, as aforesaid.
PASSED the Town Council at a meeting thereof held
on November 12, 1929.
