Chas. G. Baker, at 8 p.m. on September 15, 1953. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford, Wynn Anderson and Lawrence Frese.
Mr. Hoefling, Lowman and Fox were present to inquire about the
paving of the street on which they live, So. 149th. Mr. Baker re-
viewed the plan to surface this street and told them the property
owners would have an opportunity to have the approaches from the
property to the paved road also paved at a very nominal cost. This
would protect the edge of the road and make a good driveway.
Rainier Asphalt Paving Co. had make an estimate cost of the work
on this street to be $998.25. It was moved and carried the work be
done as soon as all property owners had signed up fpr the Approaches.
Mr. Baker read a report submitted by Mr. Robt. Kelly, who represent-
ed Mr. Baker at a meeting called to discuss Gargabe Disposal Problems
in King Cotnty.
By motion Ordinance No. 262, the Seattle City Light Franchise,
was placed on its first reading.
A bill of $12.00 for the annual fee for 4 Volunteer Firemen was
presented and upon motion ordered paid.
Meeting adjourned at 9 :45.
