November 17, 1953 The recessed meeting was called to order by the Mayor, Chas. O. Baker at 3 P.M. Councilmen present were titan l+linkler, A. G. Radford and Wynn Anderson. Upon motion Ord. No. 264, the Water ordinance, was placed on its second reading. By motion Ord. No. 264 was palced on its third reading an final passage. Upon motion Ord. No. 265, the salary ordinance, was placed on its second reading. Upon motion, (ltd. loo. 265 was pitaced on its third reading and final passage. There was some discussion of the proposed Trailer ordinance. Application of Seattle City Light for permission to set poles and anchors within certain town limits was presented. Mayor Baker appointed the btreet Committee to act also as Lighting Committee and requested the Council to grant the Lighting Committee the power to authorize the setting of poles along town streets. It was moved by Mr. Minkler, seconded and carried that the Lighting Committee be given the power to grant permission for the setting of poles along town streets. Mayor Baker reported on a meeting of Mayors studying Transportation needs and. problems. Mr. Zepp was asked to investigate trees in the street near Mr. Lowman's home, which trees are a hazard.
