The meeting of the Tukwila Towm Uouncil recessed from January 5,
1959, was called order by the Mayoe, Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 P.M.
Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford, Wynn Anderson,
D. R. Frese and R. K. Doyle.
Ordinance No. 267, relating to the moving of buildings within or
into the Town of Tukwila, was, upon motion, placed on its second
reading. Upon motion Ordinance No. 267 was placed on its third reading
and final passage.
The matter of street signs was again presented. It was decided
that about 50 signs would be needed, at a cost of 3.50 Or 4.00 each.
Mr. Doyle and NIr. Frese were asked to check the number of intersections
needing signs and work with Mr. Zepp on this improvement.
Mr. Baker announced there were letters going out to Legislative
Chairmen of Washington Cities opposing the passing of proposed
legislation regarding Zoning ordinances and Justices Courts.
Meeting adjourned at 9:50.
