March 19, 1959
The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the Mayor, Chas. 0. Baker, at 3 P.M. Councilmen present
were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford, Wynn Anderson and R. K. Doyle.
This date having been set for a hearing on the Vacation of streets
south of So. 154th Mr. Ueorge Mcbroom, attorney and Mr. Tony Burzenski,
engineer for South Center Corporation, were present to answer questions
which might arise.
Mr. Dobson, town attorney, read a letter from South Center Corporation
regarding the relocation of streets to be vacated and stated the letter
covered all matters discussed by the Town Council.
Questions were satisfacorily answered by Mr. Mcliroom and Mr.
Burzenski.

Mr. Uaren asked the possibility of extending the water line to
So. 162nd St. at this time with all those benefiting sharing the
cost of the extension.
Mr. H. E. Launsberg, representing The Pacific Telephone Co.
suggested the Council give consideration to the rights of the
Telephone 6p. and allowing suitable compensation to the Telephone
Co. for any change of the location of the company poles in the area
where streets are vacated.
The petition for vacation of streets described in Resolution No.
113 was by motion accepted and the Clerk instructed to draw up an
Ordinance Vacating said parcel.
It was moved and carried that the petition requesting vacation
of streets described in Res. No. 114 be accepted and an ordinance
be drawn up vacating said streets.
It was moved and carried that the petition requesting vacation
of streets described in Res. No. 115 be accepted and an ordinance
be drawn up vacating saia streets.
Mr. Doyle read a petition for annexation of an area east of the
present town limits.
Meeting recessed at 9 :25 to meet on March 2c, 1959 at 8 P.M.
