HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-07-13 Adjourned Minutes July 13, 1959 The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order by the mayor, Charles 0. Baker, at 8 p.m. Councilmenppresent were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford, $ynK. Bdy3eoand L. R. Frese. There were complaints reported of the noise of the bulldozers late at night in the south Center area. The Clerk was asked to write to Mr. burzenski regarding this protest and recommend the hours of operation do not begin before 5 A.M. and cease by 10 P.M. It was moved and carried Resolution :+o. 118, selecting the Seattle- First National Bank as a bank of deposit for town funds, bssadopted. Mr. Doyle moved Ordinance No. 266, a trailer ordinance, be placed on its second reading, seconded and carried. Mr. Minkler moved Urd. No. 266 be placed on its third reading and final passage, seconded and carried. Mr. Frese moved Ord. No. 283, zoning an area annexed to the town, be placed on its first reading, seconded and carried. Mr. Doyle moved Ord. No. 283 be placed on its second reading, seconded and carried. Mr. Frese moved Ord. No. 283 be placed on its third reading and final passage, seconded and carried. Mr. Minkler moved the Council set a Public hearing to be held on August 10, 1959, at 3 P.M. on the recommendation of the Planning Commission to rezone the M. W. Addition and Tract 17 of the interurban Addition from R -3 zone to R -1 -12.0 zone; which rezoning was considered previoulsy on June 22, 1959. Mr. Parker, Tom Marshal, requested a change in speed limit on Interurban Avenue S. it was referred to the Police Lommission. Meeting recessed at 9 :40 to meet on July 20, at 8 P.M.
