October 12, 1959.
The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the Mayor, at 3 P.M. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler,
Wynn Anderson and Larry Frese.
Mr. VanWoerden, Joe and Wm. Aliment were also present. They are
property owners affected by flooding of the rivers.
bar. Joe Aliment stated he did not wish to participate in a
river improvement program this yee.r. Mr. Van woerden proposed he
furnish necessary equipment in rip rapping of the river bank along
his property. The Council were agreeable.
Mr. Parker reported favorably on the bid for the police car
received at the Oct. 5th m eting, and recommended the bid be
accepted. Mr., minkler movee�to accept the bid of the Lrewer
and iquipment�`of $2,295.00, including state tax and a trade -in on
the present police car, seconded by Mr. Frese abd carried.
