HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-10-22 Adjourned Minutes October 22, 1959 The recessed meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order by the Mayor, Charles 0. baker, at 7 P.i. Councilmen present were Stan hlinkler, A. G. Radfmrd, Wynn Anderson, R. K. Doyle and L. R. Frese. Mr. Doyle, Chairman of the committee on Flood Control, stated his committee had reviewed the bids for rip rapping along the river and to theit best judgement the bid of M. A. Segale was the most acceptable. Mr. Frese move% the Council accept the bid of Mr. Segale, with the stipulation that the cost to the town shall not exceed the sum of ;3500.00 for both material and labor, seconded by Mr. Doyle and carried. Mr. Frese moved that in case Mr. Segale fails to fulfill his contract the second bid of Mr. Mondo Scoccolo be accepted, seconded by Mr. Doyle and carried. The need of signs showing town boundaries was stressed. It was stated such signs will soon be posted. A resolution prepared by Mr. McLroom suggesting changes in access and egress routes from the town to the new Freeways, which routes had been by the State Highway department, was read to the Council. Mr. Doyle moved the resolution, number 119, be adopted, seconded by Mr. Anderson and carried. Meeting adjourned at 8 :10 Charles 0. Laker, Mayor Lois T. Newton, Clerk
