an ORDINANCE accepting the proposal of A. Del Guzzo for
the work in Local Improvement District No. 1, designat-
ing the kind and quality of pipe for the work. in said
district and authorizing the Mayor and Clerk to execute
a contract covering such work.
WHEREAS, heretofore by ordinance the Town of Tukwila
adopted plans and specifications for the work to be done in
Local Improvement District No. 1 of said town and thereafter,
in the manner provided by law, called for bids for such work,
under which call for bids all bidders were required to bid
separately on the various kinds and dualities of pipe in said
plans and specifications mentioned; and
WHEREAS, in conformity with such call for bids,
several bids were received, and it is now deemed for the best
interests of said town to designate 0 D Lapwelded Steel Pipe
as the kind and quality of pipe to be used for the work in
said district and to accept the proposal of A. Del Guzzo
for said work, same being the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the
Town of Tukwila as follows:
SECTION 1. That 0 D Lapwelded Steel Pipe be and
the same is hereby designated as the kind and c?uElity of pipe
to be used in the making of the improvements in Local Improve-
ment District No. 1 of said town.
SECTION 2. That the proposal for the doing of the
work in said Locn1 Improvement District No. 1, as submitted
by A. Del Guzzo, be and the same is hereby accepted, and that
the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract with said A. Del Guzzo for the doing of such
work in accordance with plans and specifications therefor here-
tofore adopted.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and posting.
Passed the Town Council at a regular meetingthereof
held on March 7 1929.
