Anderson voted "yes Mr. Radford voted "no" and Mr. Doyle voted "no" Mr. Radford gave his reasons for thinking that there is no need, at this time to make a zone change. His statement follows. "We do not know, at this time, the exact location of either the East -West or North -South Freeway. We do not know the locations of Access and Egress roads, if any, in that area. Business sites in the small area should not be planned without having this information. The property owners in that area, I understand, do not want to sell tneir property, they want to develope it, and this develop- ment they do not intend to start within the next two years. For this reason I do not believe we would be causing a hardship on any of the people by delaying a zone change in that area, at this time. January 11, 1960(continued) Within the next two years or less, we should have a complete Highway Plan for that area to work from and at that time I believe the zoning should be changed to permit the property owners to develope their property to their advantage and to the advantage of the Town of Tukwila." Since there was a tie vote and one Counc not present, the hearing was continued, until Dy in tic y In as much as the relocation of a'water Pacific nailway tracts made it necessary to with the railway Company to replace the one such agreement was presented. 129 ilman, Stanley Smith, was February 1, 1960,at 3 p.m. main east of the Union enter into an agreement made in November, 1923, Mr. Minkler moved the adoption of Resolution No. 123, which provides that the proposed agreement between the union Pacific Railway Company, formerly the Oregon- Washington Railroad Navigation Company, Oregon and Washington nailroad Company and the Town of Tukwila, for a water pipe across the lands of said companies at Black River Junction, be approved and the Mayor and Town Clerk be author- ized to sign and execute the same din behalf of the Town of Tukwila.
