A Special meeting of the Tukwila Town Council was called to
order by the Mayor Charles O. Baker, at 8 P.M. Councilmen present
were- Stan Minkler, A.G. Radford, R.K. Doyle, E.W. Ives and Jerry
Hamilton.
This meeting was called at the request of representatives of the
roster Community Club to review the original description of the
boundaries of Tukwila. Present were Mr. Lowell Heppenstall, Neil
Simpson, Ben Gustman, Mr. Fox, Mr. Charleston, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon
Ayres and others.
Mayor Baker attempted to clarify the situation, explaining the
finding of the original description which is different than the
accepted map of Tukwila boundaries and a surprise and mystery to
the town officials and the County Assessor's office. The Clerk read
the description as found in the County Commissioners Journal, dated
June 16, 1908. Mayor Baker also spoke of the advantages of living in
an incorporated town.

Mr. Donald Garen of 16205 -54th Avenue So. presented a resolution
protesting slopes and cuts in the Andover area where Morrison-
Knudsen Company are excavating for Seattle City Light Company.
After some discussion the Council set up an On Site inspection
for the following Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30 P.M., inviting Mr.
Burzenski, Project Engineer to be present.
By motion, meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
