HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-08-09 Special Minutes August 9, 1960. A Special meetin4 of the Tukwila Town Council was called to order by the Mayor, Charles 0. Baker, at 8 :0u p.m. Councilmen present were Stan Minkler, A. G. Radford and Jerry Hamilton. The meeting had been called to discuss the proposed vacation of streets in the So. Center area and take up current items of business. Mr. viells B. McCurdy, Vice ±'resident of South Center, Mr. Harold Iverson of White Bollard and Mr. A. P. Burzenski of John Graham Company presented a map and showed the streets pro- posed for vacation, together with a request for same. Mr. Minkler moved the Council accept the petition and adopt Resolution No. 130 setting August 30, 1960 at 8 :00 p.m. for a Public Hearing on said petition for vacation of certain streets in the Southennter area., seconded by Mr. Radford and carried. Mr. Hamilton presented a request for a business license to operate an office for the Peter Selien Co. in his home. Mayor Baker asked the Council to consider this request and bring in a report on August 22nd. Mr. Hamilton moved Council adjourn, seconded by Mr. Radford and carried Lois T.
