FROM CLARENCE AVENUE TO THE PACIFIC HIGH
WAY; WARREN AVENUE FROM CLARENCE AVENUE TO
HIGHLAND DRIVE; TUKWILA AVENUE FROM RIVER-
SIDE AVENUE TO WARREN AVENUE; HIGHLAND
DRIVE FROM MAIN STREET WEST TO RIVERSIDE
AVENUE; RIVERSIDE AVENUE FROM HIGHLAND
DRIVE NORTH TO THE PACIFIC HIGHWAY; HIGH-
LAND DRIVE FROM MAIN STREET EAST AND SOUTH-
EAST TO WARREN AVENUE; PACIFIC HIGHWAY FROM

FEET; BY THE LAYING AND CONSTRUCTION OF WATER
PIPES THEREIN FOF DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLY, AND DO-
ING SUCH OTHER WORK AS MAY BE NECESSARY IN CON
NECTION THEREWITH; ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESO-
LUTION N0.39 OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, CREATING A LOCAL IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT THEREFOR, AND PROVIDING THAT PAY
MENT FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT BE MADE BY SPECIAL
ASSESSMENTS UPON THE PROPERTY IN SAID DISTRICT,
PAYABLE BY THE MODE OF "PAYMENT BY BONDS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Clarence Avenue from Riverside Avenue to Warren
Avenue; gain Street from Clarence Avenue to the Pacific Highway;
Warren Avenue from Clarence Avenue to Highland Drive; Tukwila

Avenue from Riverside Avenue to Warren Avenue; Highland Drive
from Main Street West to Riverside Avenue; Riverside Avenue from
Highland Drive North to the Pacific Highway; Highland Drive from
Main Street East and Southeast to Warren Avenue; Pacific Highway
from Main Street Northwesterly to the North Town Limits; Pacific
Highway from Main Street Southeasterly to a point at right- angles
to the end of alley between First and Second Avenues and from
a point at right angles to the cattle crossing, which cattle
crossing is 800 feet, more or less, southeasterly of the point
first mentioned; thence, southeasterly to a point 100 feet south
easterly of the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Bluff
Street; Maule Avenue from Edward Avenue southeasterly to the
interseetion of the Pacific Highway and Clarence Avenue extended;
Rice Street from Maule Avenue easterly 350 feet; First Avenue
from Raule Avenue easterly 1125 feet; Second Avenue from Maule
Avenue easterly 475 feet; Warren Avenue from Clarence Avenue to
Hazel Avenue; Hazel Avenue from Warren Avenue to Division Street;
livision Street from Hazel Avenue to Outlet Street; Bluff Street
from Outlet Street to the southerly line of traots 17 and 27 of
the Interurban Addition; Outlet Street from Division Street to
Bluff Street; Riverside Avenue from Highland Drive to Outlet
Street; Tukwila Avenue from Riverside Avenue to Rainier Avenue;
Kenny Boulevard from Clarence Avenue North 1650 feet; Rainier
Avenue from Tukwila Avenue North 675 feet; Clarence Avenue from
Riverside Avenue to Kenny Boulevard; Summit Avenue from Riverside
Avenue West 550 feet; by the laying and construction of water
pipes therein for domestic water supply, and that such other
work be done as may be necessary in connection therewith, all
according to Resolution No. 39 of the Town Council of the Town
of Tukwila, and according to plans and specifications prepared
by J. D. Blackwell, Consulting Engineer, which plans and specifi-
cations are now on file with the Town Clerk and are hereby ap-
proved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the afore-
said improvement.
Section 2. That the cost and expense of said improvement,
including all neeessary and incidental expenses,
steal' be borne by and assessed against the property included
in the assessment district hereinafter created in accordance
with law.
Section 3. That there is hereby established a local improve-
ment district to be called "Kcal Improvement
District No.1 which district is described as follows:
"All the property between the termini of
said improvement, abutting upon, adjacent,
viei al or proximate to such portions of
said streets and avenues to a distance
back from the marginal lines thATeof, as
provided by law."
Section 4. Bonds bearing interest at the rate of 7% per annum,
payable on or before 12 years from the date of is-
suance, shall be issued in payment for the cost and expense of
this improvement, which bonds shall be redeemed by the collection
of special assessments to be levied and assessed upon the prop-
erty within said district, payable in 10 equal installments with
interest at the rate of 7% per annum, under the mode of "Payment
by Bonds as defined by law and the ordinances of said Town.
These bonds shall be delivered to the contractor in redemption
of warrants of the Local Improvement District Fund issued on
estimates of the Engineer, or said Town may at its election sell
said bonds and make such redemption in cash.
Seetion 5. Whereas, the Town of Tukwila has no official news-

paper, and no newspaper is published therein, therefore,
this Ordinance Shall be posted in at least three public places
in said Town, and this Ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage, approval and posting, as aforesaid.
PASSED the Town Council at a regular meeting
thereof on December 1928.
