Resolution No. 1281 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, EXPRESSING SINCERE THANKS
TO CHARLES SIMPSON, COUNCILMEMBER.
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson served four years as a Councilmember between 1984 and
1987, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson was appointed from a field of nine candidates to fill an
unexpired term on the City Council, and
WHEREAS, he served an additional two years as Councilmember during 1992 and
1993, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Simpson has served his term with enthusiasm and grace, and has
especially contributed to the City in the field of social services,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and Councilmembers express
their sincere thanks to Charles Simpson for his six years of dedicated service as
Councilmember for the City of Tukwila.
