AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE OBSTRUCTION, DAMAGE OR
DESTRUCTION OF STREET DRAINS OR GUTTERS IN THE TOWN
OF TUKWILA; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
SECTION 1. That it shall be unlawful for any
person to drive or to operate a
motor or a horse drawn vehicle over or across any
street drain or gutter in any public street in the
Town of Tukwila, without first protecting the same
from injury or damage.
SECTION 2. That it shall be unlawful to dill
in, remove, or in any manner damage
any street drain or gutter inany public street in the
Town of Tukwila by the construction of a driveuay for
vehicles over or across said street drain or gutter,
unless the person or corporation constructing or us-
ing such drivewayshall first construct a new drain
or gutter., or protect the existing drath or g&ttert
to the satisfaction of the Street Committee of the
Town Cou{}cil of the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 3. That it shall be unlawful for any
person to in anymanner obstruct, fill
in, or damage any street drain or gutter in any pub-
lic street of the Town of Tukwila, or to throw or
place any object or article into or upon the same.
SECTION 4. That any person who shall violate
or fail to comply with any of the
provisions of this ordinance or who shall counsel,
aid or abet any such violation or dailure to comply:
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of
not less than five (5) dollars nor more than twen-
ty -five (E5) dollars for each offense,
SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be,
and the same are hereby in all respects repealed.
SECTION 8. That this ordinance shall take ef-
fect and be in force five days from
and after the passage and approval.
