Resolution No. 1286
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
PROVIDE TO THE TUKWILA POND PARK CITIZENS'
COMMITTEE A RIGHT OF ENTRY EASEMENT TO THE
TUKWILA POND PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, on November 15, 1993, the City of Tukwila purchased a 24.765 acre
site commonly called "Tukwila Pond" in the Central Business District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila desires utilizing this site to provide a City park
for all citizens' enjoyment; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of a non profit citizens' corporation, it is possible
to construct the park following a design approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, a non profit citizens corporation could generate funds and other
contributions, reducing the need for expenditure of public funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Upon its formal and legal incorporation, the Mayor is authorized to sign and
provide to the Tukwila Pond Corporation, a Right of Entry Easement to the
Tukwila Pond site.
