A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING FOR VACATION OF A PORTION OF SOUTH 104TH
STREET FROM EAST MARGINAL WAY SOUTH TO
APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET EAST.
WHEREAS, Associated Grocers and Northwest Auto Wreckers have petitioned to vacate
a portion of South 104th Street from East Marginal Way South to approximately 200 feet east,
and
WHEREAS, RCW 35.79.010 requires setting a public hearing by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing upon the vacation of a portion of South 104th Street from
East Marginal Way South to approximately 200 feet east, shall be held before the Tukwila City
Council in the City Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila,
Washington, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on August 22, 1994,
which is not less than twenty (20) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of passage of this
resolution, at which time all persons interested in said right -of -way vacation are invited to
appear and be heard.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to post written notice of pendency of the public
hearing in three public places in the City of Tukwila and in one additional conspicuous place
on the right -of -way sought to be vacated at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set for
hearing.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF GI W- CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of 1994.

PETITION F_ OR VACATION OF STREETS
Pursuant to RCW 35.79
TO THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL:
1. The undersigned petitioners hereby request the vacation of the following described property
located in the City of Tukwila (if legal description is long, please attach). Also, attach a site
plan of the area to be vacated.
2. The name and address of all owners of property abutting on said portion to be vacated are as
follows:

3. In accordance with Section 18.88.010, Ordinance #1247, the $120.00 fee for street vacation has
been received.
