Resolution No. 1307 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE NAME OF SOUTH 158TH STREET
BETWEEN 51ST AVENUE SOUTH AND 53RD AVENUE SOUTH TO
SOUTH 159TH STREET.
WHEREAS, residents of 51st Avenue South with addresses 158XX have petitioned to
change the name of South 158th Street that is their only access to South 159th Street, and
WHEREAS, this change would result in their addresses and the street numbering
system being in order so they can be found by the numbering system, and
WHEREAS, there are no homes on this segment of street which aligns with South 159th
Street, and
WHEREAS, Fire and Police concur with the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the street name of South 158th Street between 53rd Avenue South and 51st Avenue
South is changed to South 159th Street and the Director of Public Works is to replace the
street name signs with South 159th Street.
PASSED BY THE CITY CO WIL OF THE qTY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of t ,1994.
