C Resolution No. 1317 Repealed by Res 1470 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF TRACONEX SIGNAL CONTROLLERS FROM
INTERSECTION DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION OF
WOODINVILLE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has funding for five (5) signal controllers at 42nd Ave.
S. /S. 154th St., Andover Park West /Minkler Blvd., Southcenter Parkway /Minkler Blvd.,
Pacific Highway South /S. 130th St., and Pacific Highway South /S. 132nd St.; and
WHEREAS, most of the City's existing controllers are Traconex sold by Intersection
Development Corporation; and
WHEREAS, these units have proven reliable and are the City of Tukwila and King
County standard; and
WHEREAS, having a single type controller reduces the amount of training for personnel,
inventory for parts, repair times, and other operation- maintenance features; and
WHEREAS, there is only one source of these units in Washington and they continue to
provide excellent service and help;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Public Works is authorized to buy Traconex signal controllers from Intersection
Development Corporation using the State of Washington contract bid prices
through 1995 at the state bid unit price of $14,944.58.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 21 sz' day of ,1995.
