Resolution No. 1321 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON REJECTING THE BID BY WESTERN EQUIPMENT
DISTRIBUTORS, INC. FOR A SMALL UTILITY VEHICLE, AS
PROVIDED IN RCW 35.23.352.
WHEREAS, the City did solicit competitive bids for a small utility vehicle for use at
Foster Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, such bids were opened by the City Clerk's Office and read aloud on March
23,1995; and
WHEREAS, bids were received from Western Equipment Distributors, Inc., Auburn
Lawn and Garden, and Superior Turf Equipment; and
WHEREAS, the review of bid documents from the apparent low bidder, Western
Equipment Distributors, Inc., revealed significant deviations from the bid specifications; and
WHEREAS, Washington State Statutes (RCW 35.23.352) provides for the rejection of
any or all bids by resolution of the City Council;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The bid proposal submitted by Western Equipment Distributors, Inc. is
determined to be non responsive due to non conformance with the bid specifications.
Section 2. The Bid Bond shall be returned to Western Equipment Distributors, Inc.
without penalty.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY QF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of 1995.
