AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE TIME OF HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AND PROVIDING FOR THE CALLING OF SPECIAL MEETINGS OF
SUCH CITY COUNCIL AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 77 OF THE ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA:
SECTION 1.That regular meetings of the Council of the Town of
Tukwila shall be held on the first Thursday of each month,
but should any such Thursday fall upon a legal holiday, the time
of holding such meeting shall be on the Friday following.
PROVIDED: That the first meeting of the Town Council in any year
shallbe held on the first Monday in June, but should any such
Monday fall upon a legal holiday, the time of holding such first
meeting of the Town Council shall be on the Tuesday following.
SECTION 2. Special meetings of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
shall be held at such times as the business of the Town may re—
quire and in such case the Mayor or three Councilmen may call
such special meetings by written notice delivered to each member
of the Council at least three (3) hours before the time speci—
fied for calling such proppsed meeting.
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 77 shall be, and the same is hereby
pealed.
SECTION 4. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall become effective immediately mpon its passage
and execution by the Mayor and the Clerk.

1928, and signed by me in open session in authentication of its
passage, this 19th day of July 1928.
