Resolution No. 1323 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF SOUTH 114TH
STREET AND SOUTH 115TH STREET EAST OF 42ND AVENUE
SOUTH.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has petitioned to vacate South 114th Street and South
115th Street between 42nd Avenue South and the Burlington Northern Yard, and
WHEREAS, RCW 35.79.010 stipulates that a petition to vacate public right -of -way shall
be considered at a public hearing, and
WHEREAS, RCW 35.79.010 further stipulates that such public hearing shall be set by
resolution of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing upon the vacation of South 114th Street and South 115th
Street between 42nd Avenue South and the Burlington Northern Yard, shall be held before the
Tukwila City Council in the City Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter
Blvd., Tukwila, Washington, at 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter maybe heard on
June 19, 1995, which is not less than twenty (20) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of
passage of this resolution, at which time all persons interested in said right -of -way vacation are
invited to appear and be heard.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to post written notice of pendency of the public
hearing in three public places in the City of Tukwila and in one additional conspicuous place
on the right -of -way sought to be vacated at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set for
hearing.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of ,1995.
