HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0111 - 1927 BudgetAN ORDINANCE FIXING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1927 FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE CURRENT MUNICIPAL EXPENSES AND PROVIDING FOR REDEMPTION OF BONDS AND THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST THEREON FOR THE TOWN OF TUKWILA. WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Tukwila, King County, State of Washington, at a special meeting thereof, held on the 7th day of October, 1926, made the following estimate of expend- itures and receipts from all sources other than direct taxation and of the amount proposed to be raised by taxation upon the real and personal property of said Town of Tukwila for the ensu- ing year of 1927. ESTIMATE OF EXPENDITURES A. Operating and Maintenance Expense Hall Rent $40.00 Clerk's Salary 120.00 Treasurer's Salary 75.00 Bonds for Officials 7.50 Street Lighting 600.00 Printing and Postage 30.00 Marshal's Salary 10.00 Elections 40.00 State Auditor 40.00 Legal Services 100.00 Water Developement 250.00 Streets and Street Repair 1698.50 TOTAL 3011.00 B. Redemption of Debt. Redemption 1919 Bond Fund $350.00 Interest 1919 Bond Fund _#20.00 TOTAL 770.00 GRAND TOTAL 3781.00 ESTIMATED RECEIPTS Sidewalk Assessments $1181.00 General Taxation 2600.00 TOTAL NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA: Section 1. That for the purpose of raising funds with which to pay the expenditures as above enumerated, together with the redemp- tion of debt for the T©wn of Ttikwtla for the ensuing year of 1927, there shall be certified to the County Assessor King County, Washington, the sum of $2600.00 as the amount to be raised by general taxation upon the real and personal property embraced within the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila as shown by the assessment rolls of King County for the Year 1927. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publioation.
