A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, EXPRESSING THANKS
AND APPRECIATION FOR ALLAN EKBERG'S EIGHT
YEARS ON THE TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Allan was instrumental in garnering support for annexation of his neighborhood into
Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, during his two terms of office as Council member, Allan served as a pro- active
Council member, a facilitator, and Council President; and
WHEREAS, his analysis, learning, and leadership in areas such as comprehensive planning,
residential revitalization, and residential street improvements resulted in better government in Tukwila;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and Council
Members express their sincere thanks to Allan Ekberg for his eight
years of dedicated service as Council Member for the City of
Tukwila.

meeting thereof this day of 1998.
