A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE NAME
OF A PORTION OF THE FORMER GRADY WAY ROAD
TO FUN CENTER WAY.
WHEREAS, a portion of the former Grady Way was left when the new Grady Way Bridge
was built; and
WHEREAS, map inaccuracies left a mistaken impression the road section was named
Monster Road; and
WHEREAS, when the land was in Renton the property owner had asked for and received
a street vacation for Monster Road; and
WHEREAS, the land was later given to Tukwila in a boundary straightening exchange
with Renton; and
WHEREAS, the current owners plan to use the old Grady Way as an access to their
Family Fun Center development and have asked to change the name to Fun Center Way to clarify
their address;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The portion of the former Grady Way still remaining by the old Nielson farm site is
renamed "Fun Center Way
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this �O ril day of (1 ✓L 1998.
