A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS
FOR A TRI -PLEX GREENSMOWER.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila advertised and received competitive bids for a tri -plex
greensmower on June 23, 1998; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on June 24, 1998 and examined, and a lowest responsible
bidder was determined; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the bid process, the City conducted performance testing and field
review of the equipment proposed by the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, the field review and testing revealed difficulties related to maintenance and
service; and
WHEREAS, the City must accept the lowest responsive bid for the equipment as specified or
reject all bids;
WHEREAS, the acceptance of the equipment provided by the lowest responsive bidder
would not be in the best interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All bids for the tri -plex greens mower as opened and read aloud on June 24,
1998, are hereby rejected.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this act day of L(ut 1998.
