A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
1394, ADDING AN ADDITIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF
POLICE CAPTAIN AND MODIFYING THE CLASSIFICATION
FOR POLICE LIEUTENANT, AND ESTABLISHING THE
DECISION BAND METHOD PLACEMENT FOR THESE
POSITIONS BASED ON THESE CHANGES.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council has adopted a non represented employees'
compensation plan; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila Police Department has conducted a reorganization,
eliminating the position of Assistant Police Chief and adding the position of Police Captain; and
WHEREAS, the analysis of the positions has been conducted and the wage schedule has
been modified to reflect the reorganization in the Police Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Attachment "A the Non Represented Salary Schedule, of Resolution 1394, amended to show the
reorganization of certain Non Represented positions in the Police Department as to titles and
placement on the schedule, is hereby adopted.
