HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0107 - 1926 Budget ORDINANCE NO. 107 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1926 FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE CURRENT MUNICIPAL EXPENSES AND PROVIDING FOR REDEMP— TION OF BONDS AND THE PAYMENT OF INTEREST THEREON FOR THE TOWN OF TUKWILA. WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Tukwila at a special meeting thereof held on the 17th day of September, 1925, made the following estimate of expenditures and receipts from all sources other than direct taxation and of the amount proposed to be raised by taxation upon the real and personal property of said Town of Tuk— wila for the ensuing year of 1926. ESTIMATE OF EXPENDITURES A. Operating and Maintenance Expense Hall Rent 40.00 Clerks Salary 120,00 Treasurers. Salary 75.00 Street Lighting 500.00 Printing and Postage 15,00 Marshals Salary 10.00 Elections 4 o.00 State Auditor 40.00 Attorney 50 Streets and Street Repair 1230.00 Total ESTIMATED RECEIPTS $2820.00 B. Redemption of Debt Redemption of 1919 Bond Fund 400.00 Interest 1919 Bond Fund 420.OQ Total 820.00 GRAND TOTAL 340.00 Sidewalk Assessments 1030.00 General Taxation 2610.00 Total J3640.00 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE,�OUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA: Section 1. That for the purpose of raising funds with which to pay the expenditures as above enumerated, together with the redemption of debt for the Town of Tukwila for the ensuing year of 1926, there shall be certified to the County Assessor of King County, Washington, the sum of $2610.00 as the amount to be raised by general taxation upon the real and personal property embraced within the corporate limits of the Town of Tukwila as shown by the assessment rolls of King County for the year 1926. Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
