A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A
COMPREHENSIVE WATER PLAN AND PROVIDING
FOR WATER SERVICE POLICIES FOR THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila is a municipal code city formed under duties
imposed under the provisions of Chapter 35A of the Revised Code of Washington; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has deemed it desirable to
adopt a Comprehensive Water Plan in accordance with the provisions of WAC 246 -290;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The 1998 Comprehensive Water System Plan is hereby adopted.
Section 2. The plan is explicitly designed to be revised every 5 years to reflect
changes in the City of Tukwila Capital Improvement Program requiring facility
modifications as it relates to the standards outlined in WAC 246 -290, revised July 1994.
