A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING
ALL BIDS SUBMITTED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE FOSTER GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE SHED.
WHEREAS, the City advertised and received competitive bids for constructing a
maintenance shed at the Foster Golf Course; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and read aloud by the City Clerk on September 9,
1999; and
WHEREAS, the bid specifications did not clearly and specifically state that state
sales tax was to be included in the bids; and
WHEREAS, some but not all bidders included sales tax in their submitted bids;
and
WHEREAS, in the interest of fairness to all, the bid package should be advertised
again clarifying the need for inclusion of the state sales tax;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby rejects all bids for the construction of the
Foster Golf Course Maintenance Shed as opened and read aloud on September 9, 1999.
