A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING
THE BID SUBMITTED BY GLORY DEVELOPERS,
INC., OF FEDERAL WAY, WASHINGTON, FOR THE
YEAR 2000 FACILITIES PAINT PROGRAM PROJECT.
WHEREAS, sealed bids were solicited for the Year 2000 Facilities Paint Program
project; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened and read aloud by the City Clerk on May 25, 2000;
and
WHEREAS, Glory Developers, Inc., was awarded the contract for the Year 2000
Facilities Paint Program project and has been recently found to be a non responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Glory Developers, Inc., bid for the Year 2000 Facilities Paint
Program project is hereby rejected as non responsive due to the non responsible bidder
determination.
Section 2. JPL Construction, Inc., is determined to be the lowest responsible
bidder on the Year 2000 Facilities Paint Program project and is hereby awarded the
contract for construction in the amount of $74,208.00, not including Washington State
Sales Tax.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
