Resolution No. 1463
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS
FOR A ROTARY MOWER.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila advertised and received bids for a rotary mower with full
floatation, 4- blade, articulate cutting unit on March 30, 2001; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on April 2, 2001 and examined, and a lowest responsible
bidder was determined; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the bid process, the City conducted performance testing and field
review of the equipment proposed by the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, the field review and testing revealed mowing performance problems; and
WHEREAS, the City must accept the lowest responsive bid for the equipment as specified or
reject all bids; and
WHEREAS, the acceptance of the equipment provided by the lowest responsive bidder
would not be in the best interests of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All bids for the rotary mower as opened and read aloud on April 2, 2001, are
hereby rejected.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
Regular Meeting thereof this V day of 2001.
