RESOLUTION NO 715
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING A REVISION OF THE ANNUAL
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR 1980, AND REALLOCATING
PRIOR YEAR FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the projects adopted for the 1980 Block Grant Program are located
in the target area of Tukwila as stated in the three -year Community Development Plan
and;
WHEREAS, certain portions of Resolution No. 702, adopting the 1980 Com-
munity Development Block Grant Program have been determined to include projects ineli-
gible for funding, and;
WHEREAS, the entitlement amount allocated to Tukwila for 1980 for the
Block Grant program has been increased by $870.00 to total $16,861.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Tukwila 1980 Community Development Block Grant
Program (1 July 1980 30 June 1981) established pursuant to the Federal Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 shall be as follows:
1. Southgate Community Center Improvements $4,991.00*
$11,870.00
Total 1980 81 Population Funds $16,861.00
Previously approved project funds for 1980 81 program year.
Section 2. Prior year allocation to the Interurban Avenue Acquisition
Project in the amount of $21,810.00 is re- allocated as follows:
1. Interurban Avenue Acquisition $20,810.00
2. Home Security Program 1,000.00
Total $21,810,00
Section 3. Total funds allocated by the City per the adoption of this
resolution $33,680.00
Section 4. The Mayor is authorized to enter into such contracts as neces-
sary with the King County Consortium in order to receive authorization for spending.
