RESOLUTION NO 721
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA ORDERING THE CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING
MUNICIPAL WARRANTS.
WHEREAS, RCW 39.56.040 states that warrants of any municipal corporation
not presented within one year of the date of their issue shall be cancelled
by passage of a resolution and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to cancel all
outstanding warrants over one year old, and,
WHEREAS, there is a $9.27 unreconciled difference between the accounting
records and the actual outstanding warrants and,
WHEREAS, the State Examiner has concurred that any additional effort to
reconcile the difference is not justified due to the small dollar amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUK'WILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby declares the following warrants cancelled
and authorizes the adjustment as shown:

The Finance Director of the City of Tukwila shall transfer all records of
such warrants so as to leave the funds as if such warrants had never been drawn.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this E7-! day of 1980.
