AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ASSESSI.I +M4T ROLL FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
SIDEWALKS IN THE TOr is OF TUKWILA AIM DECLARING THE AMOUNTS ASSESSED AGAINST THE
VARIOUS PROPERTIMI A LIEN THEREON,
13HEREAS, by the authority of resolutions regularly passed by the
Council of the Town of Tukwila, the construction, at the expense of the abutting
properties, of sidewalks in the To= of Tukwila, was duly ordered and such order
approved by the Mayor and said sidewalks were thereafter duly constructed by the
Town of Tukwila, and,
WHEREAS, under date of March 8th, 1923, an assessment roll was
duly prepared and filed with the Council of the Town of Tukwila by the Town Clerk,
setting forth the lots by their proper description together with the names of the
owners thereof and the proportionate amounts to be assessed L gainst the various
properties, and
WHEREAS by the appropriate resolution the Town Council set the
19th day of April, 1923 as the date for the hearing upon said assessment roll and
caused due notice of such hearing to be published in manner and form according to
law, and
WHEREAS, on due hearing had on April 19th, 1923, the said assess-
ment roll was duly approved as to the properties described in the amount due thereon,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOVM OF TUMVILA
Section 1. That the assessment roll prepared by the Town Clerk for
the various sidewalks described in the Town of Tukwila and presented to the Town
Council under date of March 8th, 1923, be and same is hereby approved for and in
the sum set opposite the properties below described:

Section 2. That the above specified amounts shall at once become a
lien upon the above described properties to the extent of said assessment and shall
be certified to the Treasurer of the Tome of Tukwila for the collection in
accordance with the terms of Ordinance No. 99 of the Town of Tukwila,
Section 3, This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage and pLtblication.
Passed the Town Council and signed by Sze in authentication of its
passage, this 19th day of April, A. D. 1923.
