WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 745
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING A PETITION TO ANNEX TO THE CITY CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE TUKWILA PLANNING AREA AND
FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE SUBJECT PETITION.
WHEREAS, there was filed with the City of Tukwila on March
24, 1980, a notice of intent to commence annexation proceedings pursuant
to RCW 35.13.125, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, at its Committee of the Whole
Meeting of June 9, 1980 directed the City Clerk to prepare necessary
documentation to accept the subject petition, and
WHEREAS, an Environmental fluestionnaire for this annexation
has been received and a Final Declaration of Non Significance made by
the responsible official.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The petition by William E. Boyd, et al to annex
3.4 acres situated contiguous to the western boundary of the
City of Tukwila is accepted. Said annexation area is depicted
on Map Exhibit A and is legally described in Exhibit B attached
hereto.
Section 2. The date of July 7, 1980 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Tukwila City Hall Council Chambers is hereby provided for
a Public Hearing on this petition, as prescribed in RCW
35.13.140.
Section 3. Following the Public Hearing described in
Section 2 of this resolution, the City Council shall con-
sider an ordinance to effect said annexation. Said ordinance
shall include adoption of a Tukwila zoning designation for
the subject lands and shall require the annexed area to
assume its share of City indebtedness.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,

NOTICE OF INTENT TO COMMENCE ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS
TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA:
The undersigned, being owners of at least ten_per cent (10 by
assessed valuation of the area for which we propose annexation, here-
with file with the City of Tukwila our Notice of Intent to circulate
petitions requesting annexation to the City of Tukwila of the follow-
ing described property continguous to said City. It is proposed that
this area will seek annexation not subject to the general indebtedness
of the City of Tukwila.
Area proposed for annexation: (Note: Insert here a legal
description describing the boundaries of the area proposed for
annexation.)
