RESOLUTION NO. 749
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, EXPRESSING,
SINCERE THANKS TO THE ANDOVER TERRACE GARDEN CLUB
FOR THEIR BEAUTIFICATION PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the members of the Andover Terrace Garden Club have
given their time and efforts to help beautify the City of Tukwila Parks,
and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council recognizes the efforts and
appreciates the participation of local organizations in furthering the
development of City parks for all to enjoy.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and the Tukwila City Council express their
sincere thanks and appreciation to the Andover Terrace
Garden Club for the beautification projects they have
undertaken in the City of Tukwila.
They designed the landscape plan for the rockeries at
the Tukwila Park, purchased a portion of the shrubs
and planted those, plus additional shrubs purchased by
the City.
The members purchased and planted the annuals for the
landscaped areas at the Bicentinnial Park and two Kwanset
Cherry Trees were planted there for Arbor Day.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILAA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 70 day of 1980.
