A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AUTHORIZING
THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO TRANSMIT SOCIAL SECURITY
PER STATUATORY REQUIREMENTS.
WHEREAS, Federal OASI regulations require monthly deposits
of social security contributions effective July 1, 1980, and
WHEREAS, State of Washington, Employment Security Department
has required all local governments to transmit their contributions to
arrive in Olympia no later than the 15th of each month, and
WHEREAS, The City of Tukwila must make provisions to comply
with these statuatory requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby authorizes the
Finance Director to transmit the necessary social
security funds to the State of Washington, Employment
Security Department per statuatory requirements.
The Finance Director will submit a separate
Voucher Blanket Certification form; with proper
voucher documentation, to the City Council for their
approval at their first Regular Meeting following
the transmittal.
